Korede Adedoyin has been training with the Owls for some time now, starting out with the club’s under-23s before being moved up into the senior setup for Garry Monk to have a closer look at him.
The 19-year-old former Everton academy graduate has an impressive record at youth level, and is now looking to take the next step in his career as he sees an opportunity for youth to progress in a new look Owls structure.

Hide AdHe spent a spell on loan at Scottish outfit Hamilton Academical last season.
Speaking about the talented teen earlier this week, Monk said: “It’s good to have a look at see what they’ve got to offer and he’s done very well. He’s got potential and if we can bring him to the club, Steve Haslam the academy manager is the main point of call for that.
“But in terms of opinions from myself, it’s only been two days, you can’t tell everything in two days but what he’s done with us, you can see he has potential.”
Now, after some successful negotiations, The Star understands that personal terms have now been agreed with the attacker, with finalisation of his Wednesday deal expected in the coming days.
