That’s according to new Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore whose side face up against the table-topping Canaries at Hillsborough on Sunday.
Moore is in charge of a side that has had four managers this season – five if you rather facetiously include coronavirus stand-in Andy Holdsworth – and it is there that the new man would like to see things improve at Hillsborough. And not just because he’s the man at the helm.

Hide AdThe consistency shown at clubs such as Norwich in terms of personnel and approach is something the Wednesday man believes to be a key ingredient in his plan going forward.
“Daniel [Farke] has done a great job there,” Moore said. “They’ve had consistency and a large part of their success this season has been because they’ve been consistent in and around the football club, in and around the squad.
“That group of players have been together now well over three seasons. The message is clear, the dynamic of the team is clear, the structure of the club knows where it is and the whole foundation of the club is about consistency.
“From our standpoint, we’re building to get to that level of performance and consistency and my focus is solely and purely on Sheffield Wednesday, moving us and getting us moving forward on a consistent basis.”

Hide AdWednesday have been working hard at their Middlewood Road training base this week, their first midweek off since their isolation period in January.
“I’m not saying anything untoward, I’m coming from an honest perspective where as a player I won five promotions and certainly as a manager, it’s always had consistency underlying. It’s a tried and tested formula that I adhere to and believe in.
“We’re trying to implement it all as soon as possible.
“Last week was hectic,” he continued. “This week has allowed us to lift our heads and get on the grass with the players. We needed to get the formalities settled down.
“It has been good to work with the players this week and the all round structure of the team. It has given me greater understanding of the group and it has been good to put on sessions asking questions of us all.
“There has been a lot to work on.”
