A major concern, calm over pair and three ruled out: Sheffield Wednesday injury round-up ahead of FA Cup trip to Fleetwood Town
and live on Freeview channel 276
Well, yes, though there are injury concerns that take things down a notch from what perhaps could be considered ‘the ultimate ideal’.
Here’s your run down of
Callum Paterson
This one is the big worry now. A star man and the match-winner on Saturday, the big Scot pulled up with what looked to be a hamstring problem before the hour mark.

“It looks like a muscular one and I’m concerned about it,” Moore said. “It’s too early to say yet, we’ll get a scan in the next 24 hours - and hopefully it’s nothing too serious. It is a concern though.”
Verdict: Who knows? Fingers crossed
Akin Famewo
A fan favourite in his short time back in the frame after a long injury, defender Famewo hobbled out of last weekend’s Fleetwood Town draw and didn’t feature in the matchday squad against Plymouth.
Moore’s message was one of no worries.
“There’s nothing the matter with Akin, it’s just fatigue,” he said. “He’s been out for five months, he’s come back and had three games and training. He just needed that recovery.

Verdict: Good to go
Barry Bannan
The main man was taken off late on in the Plymouth win, prompting a ripple of nervousness as to whether he may have suffered some sort of recurrence of his recent hamstring issue.
“That’s just cramp,” Moore said to the relief of half a city. “I can say that, Barry’s was just cramp and he’s alright.”
Verdict: Fit
Reece James
Another man who was building a head of steam before tasting injury, James’ recovery from an ankle injury is ticking along nicely by all accounts.

“The early signs are good, and as long as he doesn’t get any reactions in the next few days then we can start stepping it up and then go from there. Hopefully it continues to go to plan.”
Verdict: End of February / Early March
Michael Ihiekwe
A knee issue had initially been suspected to keep him out until this month. But it turns out it’ll be a wee while longer than that.
“We think now it looks like it'll probably be towards the end of the campaign rather than any time soon,” Moore said.
Verdict: Out until April

No change here, sadly. Heneghan is still on the comeback from an ACL issue that required surgery and will miss the rest of the campaign.
Verdict: Out for the season
