Media reports suggest that a growing number of top-flight managers are behind the idea of a break in the season.
United became the latest club to be hit by Covid-19 cases when they returned "a number" of positive tests in the build-up to Tuesday's defeat at Turf Moor. Backroom staff and players were amongst those who now have to self-isolate for 10 days in line with Government guidelines.

"The family are concerned because it's in the club, but were doing everything right. We're following the protocols and looking forward to the game.
"We've always been extra careful, and we're doing our best to keep it away.

"The year's been tough," Basham added.
