Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has revealed the reason behind his Blades' turnaround as they came from a goal down to beat Norwich 2-1 at Carrow Road this afternoon.

United trailed 1-0 at the break after a below-par opening 45 minutes, and Alex Tettey’s opener for the hosts.

But a vastly-improved second half showing saw goals from full-backs Enda Stevens and George Baldock, before yet more VAR controversy saw John Lundstram have a goal chalked off, Chris Basham denied a penalty and Chris Basham’s red card rescinded and downgraded to a yellow.

And Wilder said: “That's a huge result, a huge second-half performance.

“We weren't at it in the first half and that was maybe a bit of a hangover from the Newcastle match.

“We gave them a little bit of a poke at half time and I'm not surprised we got a reaction. We were slow, lethargic, one paced, and it wasn’t us, but the second half was."
