Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder's transfer stance to the media as top targets agree moves elsewhere ahead of Monday's deadline

The United manager, who targeted Ben Davies and Jesse Lingard before seeing the two players move closer to deals elsewhere, has consistently refused to discuss his targets in recent weeks' press conferences, and did so again today ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash at Manchester City.
United could not fill their bench on Wednesday night at Old Trafford, as they beat Manchester United, and a couple of the subs they were able to name were only fit enough to play a handful of minutes if required.

"I've not got anything to say on transfers," said Wilder, who later said that the Blades "were down to the bare bones".
Lingard, who was targeted by Wilder in the January window in a loan move from Man Utd, is close to agreeing a move to West Ham for the rest of the season after the Hammers agreed to pay a £1.5m loan fee and cover the England international's reported £80,000 a week wages in full.
Davies, the Preston defender who was earmarked as a perfect replacement for the injured Jack O'Connell, is understood to have agreed a pre-contract deal with Celtic.
