Some schools in Sheffield were forced to close today due to the weather, while buses were also disrupted by the snow.

Hide AdA mixture of light and heavy snow is expected tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon, and temperatures are forecast to drop to -4C during the early hours of Thursday, when it will feel like -7C.
Sheffield Council said this evening, Monday, February 8: “We’re set for more snow and ice over the next 24 hours. Our gritters are out throughout the evening to prepare the roads. Please take care and only travel if it’s essential.”
