WEATHER: Cold snap continues in South Yorkshire
According to the Met Office, it will remain bitterly cold and there could be some light snow showers, but not of the severity experienced earlier this week.
The strong easterly wind will continue, causing drifting of existing snow and severe wind chill.
Temperatures will struggle to reach 1C.

Hide AdOvernight there could be further snow drifting because of the strong wind. Temperatures are expected to drop to -4C.
Saturday will be cloudy and there could be occasional snow showers but these will begin to fade as drier conditions develop.
Between Sunday and Tuesday, temperatures are likely to slowly recover.
