Video: Rotherham United new boss Alan Stubbs targets play-offs
The 44-year-old, who has signed a three-year deal with the Millers, used his first press conference to confirm he and first-team coach John Doolan are aiming high.
He says the club already have a “good nucleus” of players and that he has the budget to add to the squad.

“We want to be moving up the table and, ultimately, be in a place that is around the play-offs come the end of the season.
“It has to be the aim. It’s very simple as far as we’re concerned.”
Chairman Tony Stewart said: “Alan is a leader. He has been captain at virtually every club he has played at. I like his drive and ambition.”
