UPDATE: Sheffield road reopens after suspected hit-and-run crash leaves two injured
Police were called to Firth Park Road, in Firth Park, today at around 1pm, following reports of a car in collision with a white Seat Ibiza and two pedestrians.
The car reportedly failed to stop at the scene and officers were this afternoon hunting the driver.

Hide AdThe road was closed, with buses on diversion, but it reopened at around 3pm.
Police said the pedestrians were receiving medical treatment but the extent of their injuries is not known at this stage.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "The car reportedly failed to stop at the scene and a search is underway in the local community, with officers speaking to residents and witnesses," she said.
The collision is believed to have happened close to the junction with Hamilton Road.

Hide AdThe model and colour of the second car is not known at this stage.
One person wrote on Facebook: "Serious crash at bottom of Hamilton road on Firth Park Road. Driver ran from scene."
