Two arrested in Rotherham abuse scandal probe
The National Crime Agency has arrested one man in Rotherham and another in Sheffield as part of its Operation Stovewood probe into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.
The men are currently being interviewed by police.
One man was arrested in Rotherham on suspicion of indecent assault. The offence is believed to have taken place against a girl aged under 16.

Hide AdThe second man was arrested in Sheffield on suspicion of sexual assault. The offence is believed to have taken place against a different girl, also aged under 16.
This is the third arrest in Operation Stovewood, which has 30 key suspects and is investigating hundreds of other people.
Officers are initially focusing on the accounts of 83 victims and survivors and have eight distinct major investigations taking part as the operation.
The NCA is investigating the same period covered by the Jay report, which estimated there were at least 1,400 victims in the town.
