Thornton may make Sheffield Sharks debut in Leeds derby
DBL Sharks Sheffield play host to Yorkshire neighbours Leeds Force, starting at 7.45, with revenge on their minds having suffered a 21-point defeat during the opening weekend of the season.
Sharks, who could hand a debut to American forward Kellen Thornton, have steadied the ship after a rocky start, dealing with a series of injuries and climbing to a 7-6 record, with four wins in their last five.

Sharks’ guard Colin Sing: “Leeds are a tough team, they’re physical, run their sets well and beat us on the opening weekend of the season. I think it will be a close start to the game but we know we will have to match their physicality, be on a string when playing defence and execute on offence to win.”
