South Yorkshire Police seeks new firearms officers
The force is looking for 200 new police officers over the next 12 months, including trained firearms officers, police constables and detective constables looking to transfer to South Yorkshire from other forces.
South Yorkshire Police's advert for the roles said the force is on a ‘quest to be the best’ and is looking for 'high-calibre transferees' wanting to join 'talented, committed colleagues'.
