South Yorkshire Police investigate reported rape
A police probe is underway into a reported rape on a South Yorkshire street.
South Yorkshire Police said the alleged offence in Pitt Street in Barnsley town centre was reported by a 'third party' on Sunday, February 5
The offence is said to have happened sometime between 6.30am and 7.13am that day.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Enquiries are continuing and the woman is assisting with the investigation and receiving support from specially trained officers."
