Hide AdDetectives are treating the shooting as a ‘targeted attack’ but are looking for possible links with a gun attack in nearby Richmond Road last Monday.
In that attack, at 10.40pm, shots were fired towards a pub, causing damage to a window.
Detective Inspector John Wheaton, whose team is investigating both incidents, said: “Nobody was injured in either shooting but I fully appreciate how concerning these events will be for local residents and the wider community.
“We are working incredibly hard to identify those involved and we strongly believe that both incidents are targeted towards particular individuals or groups.

“If you hold any information about either incident, or think you can help us locate the individuals involved, please give us a ring or speak to officers within the community.
“I understand that some of you may be reluctant to speak to officers directly, so remember you can call Crimestoppers anonymously and in confidence.”
