Second shooting linked to gun attack in Sheffield
Police were alerted to a gun attack in Halifax Road, just off Penistone Road, at 2pm on Wednesday and discovered that a 25-year-old man had been shot in the leg.

Hide AdIt has been revealed today that another gun was fired in Southey Green Road, just over a mile away, ‘prior to the incident’.
It is not believed that anyone was injured in the first shooting.
Detectives have also revealed that two vehicles have been recovered as part of the police probe.
They are now trying to trace the drivers.
One car is a black Seat Leon, with the registration number FD06 FJJ and the other is a grey Volkswagen Golf, with the registration number YN65 WCE.

Hide AdDetective Chief Inspector Steve Whittaker, of South Yorkshire Police said: “We believe that two cars, a black Seat Leon, registration number FD06 FJJ and a grey VW Golf, registration number YN65 WCE, were involved in this incident.
“Following numerous enquiries, we have recovered the two cars, one of which was stolen from a property in Barnsley.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who saw the cars prior to the incident or who knows who may have been driving them to contact police.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was driving along Penistone Road at the time of the incident or who saw anything suspicious to contact us.”
