ROAD TEST: Volvo S90 D4 Inscription
Lots of cars boast leather seats, but this is a different kind of leather.
This isn’t kind of leather that either makes you either too cold or sweat like a beast.

This is upholstery which oozes luxury, sophistication and comfort. It's pretty damn roomy too.
The S90 looks the part as well. Gone are the conservative lines of Volvo saloons of days gone by.
This S90 is a far more sleeker animal, one that is sure to draw admiring glances.
It is a statement. It looks the part.

Nine-inch touch screen console, voice control, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, parking assist pilot and internet connectivity. You name it and the S90 Inscription has it.
The model I tested was also loaded with the Xenium pack - tilt and slide sunroof and 360 degree view parking camera.
It also had some impressive single option add ons including a Bowers & Wilkins sounds system, blind spot information system and 4-zone electronic climate control with cooled glovebox.

Hide AdTo say the S90 is a pleasure to drive is an understatement. The handling is excellent and it veritably glides along the road.
It handled all the challenges Sheffield's undulating and twisty roads could throw at it with aplomb.
Then there is the warm, satisfying, fuzzy feeling you get from all the admiring glances thrown your way from motorists and pedestrians alike. It exudes a certain confidence, it has to be said.
The S90 might not be the fastest, nastiest saloon on the market, but its elegance, style and comfort certainly make it one of the best.
