The nine-year-old from Beauchief, who has cerebral palsy and autism, began walking on the streets near his home in March in hopes of raising £500 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Paces School, in High Green.
But his fundraiser went viral and, after completing two whole marathons and appearing on television numerous times, Captain Tobias – as he became known in honour of inspirational WWII veteran Tom Moore – has now raised an incredible £150,030.

His mum, Ruth, said: “Tobias is chuffed to bits, as he normally says. He’s feeling magnificent and just so pleased and so grateful for the people that got him there and helped him reach that goal.
"I think it is hard to imagine just how much £150,000 is, it’s a massive amount of money and will make a huge difference to a lot of children.
“We’re all just shocked at how much he has been able to achieve but delighted as well.”

Hide AdRuth says that Tobias has now decided to take on a third marathon challenge on a new trike bought by Sheffield firm Jiraffe – although this time the main focus won’t be on the monetary donations as such.
"The trike is fitted in such a way that he can move short distances, although he needs to be on a slight downhill gradient,” Ruth said.
"For his next challenge he’ll definitely be doing the length of a marathon but we’ll be planning out several different routes to find out which is best. He’ll start with short distances and work his way up.
"We’ve got a stand in the house for the trike so he’ll be doing lots of practice before he takes on the challenge.
