She left a note, as well as video messages on Rebecca’s phone, which were not picked up until later that evening.
The note said that her actions had been a ‘long-time coming’ and the videos showed her ‘apologising, explaining things and saying goodbye’.
When Rebecca returned home later that night, she found Naomi unresponsive and tried to perform CPR while waiting for an ambulance.

An inquest into her death at Sheffield Coroners’ Court on Monday heard evidence from Naomi’s GP, a mental health professional from Northern General Hospital and her family.
Testimony read to the court from her GP in Doncaster said she had never visited them since registering and had no significant past medical history.
Naomi had, however, visited hospital in Sheffield in the weeks before she died after self-harming with scissors, but self-discharged before she could be assessed.

A post-mortem examination found Naomi died of asphyxia in relation to helium inhalation.
Both alcohol and paracetamol were also found in her system, but neither in significant amounts.
In ruling Naomi’s death a suicide, assistant coroner Tanyka Rawden said her thoughts were with her family, who were not present in court because of the coronavirus crisis.
