Two ambulances and a police car attended the scene of an incident on Shoreham Street tonight.
A witness said a police officer was looking out of a second floor balcony of the student accommodation on the corner of Britain Street at around 7.30pm.
South Yorkshire Police has since confirmed that it was asked to help the ambulance service after a report that someone had gone into cardiac arrest.
