One of Doncaster's oldest residents dies at 100
One of Doncaster's oldest residents has died at the age of 100.
John "Jack" Roberts of Scawsby, described as a "long-standing resident" of the suburb, died on August 10.
An obituary described him as the dearly loved husband of the late Blodwen and "much-loved" father of Dennis, Pauline, David and the late Violet.

Hide AdHe was also described as a father in law to Harry, Susan and the late Marie, a dear brother and uncle and a devoted grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to many.
The funeral service will take place on August 25 at Rose Hill Crematorium at 11.40am.
