The 2016 victims were: The Govaness, Pont Alexandre, Rezorbi, No More Heroes, Niceonefrankie, Long Dog and Montdragon.

With the other infamously lethal event for race horses, the Grand National meeting, looming, Animal Aid urges those who care about the welfare of horses to withhold their betting and attendance money from the racing industry.
