Fire service issues thanks following fire incident in Sheffield
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue also confirmed that a casualty was taken to hospital in a serious condition following the incident.
The fire service also expressed their gratitude to local businesses who provided them food and beverages while they were dealing with the fire.

"Our firefighters particularly want to thank local businesses who kindly provided hot drinks and sandwiches throughout the day- including Create Coffee and The Crown Inn.
"At a time when everyone is struggling due to the pandemic, generosity like this was greatly appreciated."
They also thanked their service partners who have been supporting them throughout the day including South Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance.

Hide AdSeven fire engines were deployed to a serious fire involving premises on Chesterfield Road, Heeley at around 10.30 on Sunday (February 7).
In a statement, the fire service said the fire is thought to have started at a row of shops which also has residential flats above.
The blaze involves a terraced building with Milan's pizza takeaway shop on the ground floor and flats above.
Later on a Facebook post, the pizza takeaway said that the fire was in the building next door to them.

Hide AdThe incident has forced the road to be taped off as the emergency services dealt with the fire.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
