Double gold Haffety leads great City of Sheffield medals haul in national junior diving championships
Millie Haffety struck gold twice, winning the 16+ years 1 metre springboard competition and the 3 metre springboard synchro with partner Millie Fowler.
Fowler took silver in the 1 metre springboard competition and landed bronze on 3 metre springboard. Sarah Leach won silver in this event and finished fifth on the 3 metre board with Yasmin Harper sixth.

Hide AdTia McGarry overcame injury concerns to take fifth place in the platform event.
Jordan Houlden dominated the 16+ years 1 metre springboard, winning the gold medal by over 60 points. He also won silve in the 3 metre springboard event. In the same age group, Elliot Beeden came fourth on platform. A great family achievement for the Houldens saw Richelle, Jordan’s sister, pick up silver medals in the 12/13 years 3 metre springboard and platform.
Martha Clarke took a well-earned fifh place on platform with Richellefif th place in the 1 metre springboard event.
Adam Charity and Joe Stocking continued Sheffield’s gold rush winning the 9-13 years 3 metre springboard event. Adam also reached the final of the 12/13 years platform competition along with Joseph Pashley who similarly finalled in the 3 metre springboard event. Corey Goodinson was a finalist on 1 metre.

Hide AdRaffael Benitez won silver in the 14/15 years 1 metre springboard and finalled on 3 metre.
Owen Harrison won silvrt in the platform event with Harrison Case making the 1 metre final. Holly May Prasanto produced consistent diving in both the 1 metre and 3 metre springboard competitions to reach both finals.
She also reached the final in the 14-18 years synchro event with Yasmin Harper.
