Doncaster Rovers: Billy Whitehouse close to Leeds United move
The 20-year-old midfielder has recently been on trial with the Elland Road club and is understood to have impressed United’s coaching team.
Whitehouse, who hails from Mexborough, would join up with Leeds’ under-21s squad if the deal goes through, linking up with fellow ex-Rovers youth teamers Paul and Jack McKay.

Whitehouse made nine appearances for Rovers after being handed his debut by Paul Dickov in 2014 but failed to feature under Ferguson.
His exit would leave striker Dany N’Guessan as the only remaining player on the transfer list, following the departures of Gary MacKenzie, Thorsten Stuckmann and Curtis Main.
The Star understands Rovers have attempted to come to an agreement with N’Guessan to terminate his contract. The 28-year-old still has one year left to run on his deal.
