Doncaster Rovers announce signing of Tommy Rowe
The 27-year-old made a big impression on loan at Rovers from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the final two months of the season with some all-action displays.
On the back of those impressive performances he became boss Darren Ferguson’s top target - and Rovers have moved quickly to get their man.

“I first signed for Peterborough when I was 19 years old and I really enjoy working under him [Darren Ferguson],” Rowe told Rovers’ official website.
“When I first signed for Peterborough his words to me were ‘look where you are now, I will definitely develop you into a better player’.
“It’s important for any player to know that the manager is going to develop you and that’s what he does well.”

“When I first signed on loan my aim was to come here and do well, impress the fans and learn again as a player.
“I really enjoyed my time and I’ve signed permanently because of the ambition this club has.”
