Doncaster pensioner jailed for 19 years for historical child rape charges
John Caddle, of Hardy Road, Wheatley appeared before Sheffield Crown Court today where he was sentenced to 19 years in jail and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

"She has had to live with this horrendous abuse over a number of decades and I hope today's sentencing can go some way to help her to rebuild her life.
"Caddle's despicable behaviour started when his victim was a vulnerable child and he continued to carry out this horrendous abuse for a number of years.
"It is testament to the courage of the victim that he is now facing 19 years behind bars."
