Disused Sheffield primary school damaged by vandals
Vandals are being hunted after they broke into a disused Sheffield primary school and caused damage inside.
The broke into the building in Hollinsend Road, Gleadless, between 7pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday.
South Yorkshire Police said a group of youths climbed over the fence, forced entry into Gleadless Primary's old school site and caused £2,000 worth of damage.
A door was forced and a number of windows were damaged.
Police patrols are to be stepped up.
