Dinosaur art in the park
CHILDREN in Sheffield will be getting fired up about dinosaurs today when an art and environmental project comes to a close.
Art in the Park has been drawing in the crowds at Philadelphia Green Space on Fox Road, Upperthorpe for two weeks and ends with a dinosaur extravaganza today from 2pm to 5pm.
Youngsters who have already made footprints and dinosaur heads in clay will colour their masterpieces with glaze and fire them in a Raku kiln.
They will also position the footprint stepping stones in the park. The event also includes circus activities, painting with easels, chalking, and free healthy food and drink.
