Last weekend a closure order was issued for a house on Emerson Crescent described as a ‘hot spot for anti-social and criminal activity’.
The order, which lasts for three months, bans anyone other than the tenant of the property from being there.
South Yorkshire Police said: “The Parson Cross Team have been spending more time on Emerson Crescent recently – so we thought we’d move in.

“This will help increase our interaction with the individual and surrounding community and help us to get to know some of you a little better.
“We will also be more accessible to local residents who can speak to us directly as we come and go from the Crescent.
“It will also ensure officers are more visible in the area tackling local issues and working with local people on issues of concern to them.”
