Unsolved case of ‘kind, fun and beautiful’ Sheffield mum killed in hit-and-run to appear on BBC's Crimewatch

Sue Henderson was killed by a hit-and-run driver outside her home on Foxhill Crescen in Birley on February 15 this year.
The 64-year-old had dropped off her husband Michael Henderson at the pub that evening before taking a gift to a friend who was expecting a baby.

Hide AdWhen Michael returned he saw a police cordon and was informed that Sue had died after being hit by a car outside their house.
He told the Star: “There are no words to describe a moment like that, it just knocks you down. Your whole body goes numb.”
Sue and Michael, who had been married for 47 years, had known each other since they were little.
"She was a wonderful person, loved by everyone,” added Michael. “She was a regular at Hope City Church and ran a group called We are Women. She was kind, fun and beautiful.”

Hide AdSue leaves behind a daughter and two grandsons. She and Michael also had a son who sadly passed away six years ago.
Michael says he will not give up in the search for his wife’s killer and has urged people to spread the word about an upcoming BBC Crimewatch segment which will reconstruct what happened.
The show is set to air on BBC One on Monday morning at 9am.
"Please phone the number they give or the police if you saw or know anything,” he added. “This has turned my family’s world upside down.”
