Two men, aged 49 and 42, have been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis.
Chief Inspector Julie Mitchell said: “We understand that people have different views and opinions on cannabis and its uses, however cannabis is a Class B drug and it is illegal to possess, grow and sell it.
“The money obtained from growing and selling cannabis is often used to fuel more serious and organised crime that has devastating impacts on our communities.
“Quite often we also see that those who are growing it are being exploited by organised crime gang members due to vulnerabilities and are often threatened with violence.

“I would like to remind communities that we are stronger together and we can only take action following reports being made and intelligence gathered.
“We understand communities may feel that we do not always take action following reports, however each piece of information helps to build a bigger picture, to ensure that our enforcement action is successful.”
