The Sheffield North East neighbourhood policing team issued an appeal for information from Parson Cross residents and said there has been some ‘excellent info coming in so far’.
The team said: “Would you still buy that bargain if you thought it funded human trafficking, came from a burglary or assisted with the supply of drugs into your community?

“Stolen items are often from another member of the public's home and were intended as a gift for a loved one or friend.
“The Parson Cross Team are investigating those within our community who are involved in the wider chain of organised crime, and it is the profit made from selling stolen goods that then funds more significant criminal activity.
“It is a criminal offence to knowingly take possession of any item that has been obtained by criminal means and acquisitive crime in any form will not be tolerated.
