Sheffield murder victim ‘told neighbour she'd been stabbed’ on night of her death

Pearl Simone Hancock, aged 55, was found injured in flats on Ravenscroft Place, Richmond, on Saturday, July 4.
The mum and grandmother was in a communal area of the flats when paramedics arrived and she was taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead an hour later.

Hide AdAt the inquest opening at the Medico Legal Centre in Sheffield, it emerged that Ms Hancock ‘raised the alarm with a neighbour that she had been stabbed’.
A police investigation was launched and Kerry Taylor, 41, of Ravenscroft Place, was later arrested and charged with murder.
She is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court this morning.
A 36-year-old man also arrested on suspicion of murder was released under investigation pending further police enquiries.
