Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on January 22 how Algerian Mohammed Mufta, aged 27, of The Archer Project, in Sheffield, admitted harassing the man after repeatedly visiting his home on Whirlowdale Road, Millhouses, between January 1 and 5.
Mark Hughes, prosecuting, told a previous hearing the complainant helps asylum seekers and had helped Mufta but the defendant kept visiting and behaving erratically.

Hide AdMufta, who has been homeless, pleaded guilty to harassment and has admitted three thefts, damaging a mattress and a cell, and has admitted failing to surrender to custody and breaching a conditional discharge.
He has been found guilty of assaulting a police officer and using threatening behaviour.
Matt Hague, defending, previously stressed Mufta considered the complainant as a friend and there had been no threats.
Magistrates adjourned the case until February 12 to consider a probation report and remanded Mufta in custody.
