Police make four arrests at Tramlines festival in Sheffield
South Yorkshire Police said one motorist was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and two boys, both aged 15, were arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon – baseball bats.

Hide AdA 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of assault.
Tens of thousands of people attended the three-day festival at Hillsborough Park, which was a sell-out and featured bands and acts including The Courteeners, Miles Kane, Lewis Capaldi, Nile Rodgers and Rag ‘n’ Bone man.
Chief Superintendent Shaun Morley, who oversaw the policing operation for Tramlines, said: “Tramlines is always an exciting event for Sheffield, demonstrating how diverse and vibrant the city truly is.

Hide Ad“Over the course of the three-day festival, only a handful of individuals were arrested out of the tens of thousands of people who came along, to either the whole festival or simply to take in one of the many events taking place.
“I’m grateful to every person who attended for their positivity and support, your great attitude is the reason such a significant event for the city passed without major incident or concerns.”
