Police arrest SIX men with two more in hospital after huge brawl on quiet Rotherham street

South Yorkshire Police said officers were deployed to Marlowe Road, Herringthorpe, at around 2.27pm on Sunday following reports of a disturbance involving a group of armed men.
A number of those involved fled the scene in cars before officers arrived.

Hide AdOne of the cars dropped a number of injured men off at Rotherham General Hospital for treatment.
Two of the men remain in hospital today but their injuries are not deemed life threatening.
Six Rotherham men, aged 22, 23, 30, 33, 34 and 38, were arrested on suspicion of wounding and violent disorder and bailed.
A car was seized by police officers as part of the investigation.
