A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder of a 46-year-old who died in hospital just days after an incident at a property in Barnsley.
The 29-year-old was arrested today, Monday, April 6, over the death of another man following an incident at a property on Monsal Street, in Thurnscoe, on Thursday, April 2.
The man, 46, was taken to hospital but died yesterday from his injuries.
Two men, aged 31 and 41-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of assault. Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for information around how the man came to be injured.
Anyone with information should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 494 of April 2.
