Four teenagers allegedly linked to murder of Ramey Salem in Sheffield set to face trial

Sheffield Crown Court heard on December 14 how Jabari Fanty, aged 18, of Broadhead Road, Deepcar, Sheffield, Aaron Yanbak, aged 18, of Abbeydale Road, Sheffield, and Ricardo Nkanyezi, aged 18, of Morgan Avenue, near Shirecliffe, Sheffield, have been accused of murdering 20-year-old Ramey Salem.
Mr Yanbak and Mr Fanty have also been accused of conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and of possessing an offensive weapon.

Hide AdMr Nkanyezi has also been charged with possessing a weapon designed to discharge a projectile and conspiring with others to possessess a firerarm with intent to endanger life.
A fourth defendant, Jordan Foote, aged 18, of Base Green Road, Base Green, Sheffield, has been accused of conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Mr Salem was allegedly shot in a property on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave, Sheffield, on Monday, November 16, and was taken to hospital where he died a short time later, according to South Yorkshire Police.
Judge Jeremy Richardson QC, The Recorder of Sheffield, adjourned proceedings during a Plea, Trial and Preparation Hearing and listed the case for a trial on October 5.
