Family-of-six taken to hospital after house fire in Sheffield

A family home on Grange Crescent, Sharrow, went up in flames in the early hours of yesterday.
Six people inside at the time of the blaze escaped unharmed but were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Hide AdNeighbours heard screams from the property as flames engulfed the house.
Firefighters from across Sheffield spent around two hours tackling the blaze and an investigation established that arson was the most likely cause.
South Yorkshire Police said: “The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances.
“No one was injured but six people who were in the house at the time were taken to hospital as a precaution.”
