Abdi Ali, aged 29, has been named by police as a prime suspect for the murder of 47-year-old Shaun Lyall, who was battered with golf clubs, screwdrivers, a knife, scissors and length of wood in July 2018.
Mr Lyall was attacked in his home in Cleethorpes and although one man has been jailed over the death, Sheffield man Ali is believed to hold vital information and has been described as a ‘significant suspect’ by Humberside Police.

Hide AdCraig Whittle 45, of Corporation Road, Grimsby, was jailed for life over the murder last December but the police hunt for Ali continues, with a £5,000 Crimestoppers reward for information leading to his arrest still available.
Ali, who is originally from Somalia, moved to Sheffield as a child.
He moved to the east coast in the summer of 2018 but still has links to Pitsmoor and Shirecliffe in Sheffield.
Jurors in Whittle's trial heard claims that the motive for murder was missing drugs and cash that Mr Lyall was supposed to have been looking after.

In her latest post, in which she re-released police CCTV footage of Ali, she said: “This video shows prime suspect Abdi Ali casually shopping and chatting.”
She said the footage was captured on the day her son was battered to death.
