Richard Dyson, aged 55, who has links to Elsecar and Hoyland, Barnsley, was last seen on November 17 – two days after he saw his only child, Bethany, 20, when he dropped her off at her boyfriend’s house in Aston, Sheffield.
The pair had arranged to meet on the day Richard went missing, but he never showed up.

His daughter reported him missing eight days later.
Bethany, who lives in Catcliffe, Rotherham, said: “It’s just horrendous, I can’t rest. I’m worried every single day. If I see things on Facebook – someone’s hurt or had a crash, I just instantly think it might be my dad.
“I hope he’s still alive. I just want to try and do anything I can.”
Bethany said her dad seemed fine on the last day she saw him and she had no reason to believe anything was wrong.
They used to see each other every Sunday for a catch up.

Richard had never gone missing before disappearing last year and while he had never been diagnosed with any mental health conditions – and ‘would never admit it’ – Bethany said he ‘probably’ had some problems.
She said: "Ever since my grandma died he could hear voices. He said he heard a voice and had seen some things. I don’t really know what he was experiencing, but he was always fine. Every time I saw him he was alright.”
Police continue to investigate Richard’s disappearance.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 459 of November 25, 2019.
Crimestoppers can also be contacted on 0800 555111.
