BREAKING: Emergency services called to Derbyshire village after man struck by train
Police and paramedics have been called to an incident on train tracks near Chesterfield with reports that a man has been hit by a train.
Derbyshire police were called and officers of British Transport Police are now in attendance after an incident on the rails, the Derbyshire Times has learned.
Reports came in of numerous emergency services vehicles passing through Chesterfield town centre this afternoon (June 1), at around 2.45pm.
