Body found in Rotherham river formally identified

South Yorkshire Police announced today that the body pulled from the River Don on Tuesday was that of Daniel Higgs.

Daniel, aged 32, from Eastwood, was reported missing on Wednesday, November 23 and his body was found two weeks later.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Daniel’s family is receiving support from officers."
