1. Yorkshire Pudding.
The world famous Yorkshire Pudding. These are a savoury batter of flour, eggs and milk, and this dish originated in North-East England. Historically, the batter was kept underneath meat roasting on a spit, allowing meat and oil drippings to add flavour to the batter. Yummy. Photo: Roger Nadal.
2. Henderson's Relish.
Henderson's Relish has been crafted in Sheffield for more than a century, and this secret recipe relish is incredibly versatile which can be used in a variety of dishes as a sauce for meats, soups and even in marinades. Photo: Handout
3. Forced rhubarb.
Yorkshire is world famous for the Rhubarb Triangle, there is a nine-square mile area between Wakefield, Morley and Rothwell which is renowned for producing early forced rhubarb. 4. Yorkshire Parkin.
Yorkshire Parkin is a tasty gingerbread cake made with oatmeal and treacle. While it is baked as a hard cake, it is eventually left to rest and it becomes moist and sticky and has been an incredibly popular delicacy of Yorkshire since 1728. Photo: Ethan Miller
