The Royal Oak in Mosborough was yesterday razed to the ground, with this video by Candy Wilson capturing the moment it was consigned to history.
The former pub on High Street, Mosborough, had been the subject of a police investigation following a chemical spillage last year.

Sheffield Council’s environmental health department and the Environment Agency were also called in to investigate.
Ms Wilson told how she was sad to see the pub go, as it held fond memories for many people.
"I have lived in Mosborough all my life and remember sitting in the beer garden as a child with Panda cola and Seabrook crisps,” she said.”It was the starting point of the ‘famous’ Mosborough 10, a charity pub crawl held every year.

A family living in a neighbouring house had been forced to move out last year due to the spillage and it was feared at the time that the house may have to be demolished for the contaminated land underneath to be dug out.
It is not known what the future holds for the pub site, with no sign on Sheffield Council’s planning portal of any application to develop the land.
