OISOI, which already runs the Deli Food Market & Bushi-Bushi Restaurant on Arundel Street, has launched another venue at the New Era complex off Bramall Lane.
The new venture, called OISOI Gathering, is situated on the first floor of the development and overlooks New Era Square, a public space that is set to be completed in May this year.

Jerry Cheung, managing director of New Era Developments, said OISOI Gathering has already proved popular - and he expects it to get even busier.
“We’re confident the New Era Square development will deliver something special for Sheffield and the wider city region,” he said. “OISOI Gathering is our anchor food and beverage tenant and totally encapsulates the dynamism and energy of modern Asia that we’re seeking to represent.”
Jay Wang, owner of OISOI, added: “We’re extremely proud to open OISOI Gathering and to be a part of this pioneering development in the city. Sheffield diners are already familiar with OISOI’s mouth-watering dishes but this restaurant blends quality ingredients with a weekday price.

New Era features 686 student flats, several private apartments, an Oriental supermarket and boutique Chinese retailers, including a hairdresser and street food vendors.
When the development is completed in May, it will also include an 88-space underground car park, office block and public square with art installations.
OISOI will provide free on-site parking to its customers on completion.
Mr Cheung previously likened New Era Square to a ‘mini Times Square’, referring to the US tourist destination in New York City.
