According to the latest Government data released by Public Health England, the 10 areas are now reporting infection rates more than 400 cases per 100,000 people.
In Darnall, the infection rate continues to rise as 48 confirmed cases were reported in the suburb, an increase of 54.8 percent in the seven days to January 12 (the latest data made available).
This brings the infection rate in the area to 561.9 cases, the highest in Sheffield.
However, Crookes has one of the lowest infection rates in the country as it successfully managed to keep the rate down, with only 80.2 cases per 100,000 people.
As of January 12, it only recorded five cases, a drop by six cases from the previous week.
