Mandy Burns has come up with a new two-level initiative to remember people across the globe suffering from Covid-19.
She wants people to create pictures of stars and share them on social media and then at 9pm on April 20, come to their doors and shine a light in a silent memorial for people who have died from the virus.

Hide AdMandy, a Participation Officer for Doncaster Council wants to use the Light Up The Sky campaign to urge people to think of those around the globe still fighting coronavirus.
In Doncaster, there have been 41 deaths while across the UK, 13,000 people have died.
She said: “To pay tribute to those that have been affected by coronavirus, please show your respect by making a big, shiny, glittery star, put it up at your window and share a picture of it on social media using #LightUpTheSky.
“On Monday 20 April at 9pm, let us all come together and shine a light from a window or door and have a one-minute silence to pay tribute to every single person that has tragically lost their lives, send a message of love to their loved ones and send a message of hope to the many currently fighting for their lives.”
Since the start of the coronavirus crisis, rainbows and a weekly round of applause for the NHS have become symbols of the campaign.
