Ambulance service worker Che Elizabeth took to Facebook to reveal how she was targeted while dealing with an incident in Rotherham yesterday.
Writing about her ordeal on Facebook, she wrote: “I don’t often post on here, however, as many of you are aware I work for the ambulance service and today whilst at a job dealing with a patient in the Rawmarsh area of Rotherham my backpack was taken from inside the cab of the ambulance I was working from.

“The thief then had the cheek to go on a spending spree around the local area with not one but all of my cards.
“Luckily I noticed within the hour what had happened and managed to block the cards.
“If anyone hears anything regarding this or sees/hears any of the items being sold/spoke about please contact me or even the police as it has been reported and will be looked into.”
The post has been shared thousands of times with people blasting the thief as ‘evil’ and ‘scum’.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
